One of my goals was to train, run and finish the Athens Marathon in Greece on Veterans Day last year. I finished the race in under 4 hours which was good for a very difficult course. It was the original Marathon course and was very fun to be part of. Especially, because the race fell on November 11. My other goal was to make it through the winter without getting out of shape for running races and weight lifting. I was able to run 26 half marathons, 30k trail runs, and one marathon last year in spite of having a serious case of pneumonia which I was hospitalized for at the VA.
