I am an 11-year Air Force veteran and currently working for the Department of Defense. I began my CrossFit journey in September of 2012, and soon thereafter my entire family was working out at the box. I received my Level 1 Certification in February 2014, CrossFit Kids Certification in August 2014, CrossFit Gymnastics Certification in October of 2014, as well as my Level 2 Certification in 2018. I coached Crossfit Kids at CrossFit ReVamped in Columbia, MD from 2014 to 2018. From an early age I took an interest in coaching and teaching; student teaching various genres of dance and acrobatics while in high school and college. After moving to Maryland, I coached cheerleading for Ft. Meade Youth Services and went on to coach for the Columbia Ravens. I am also involved in coaching my sons’ sports teams including soccer and baseball. CrossFit opened my eyes to a wider view of functional fitness and a healthy self-image for myself and my family. I notice it often fills the void of the camaraderie and sense of community I miss from the military. I am passionate about helping Veterans reach their goals through fitness. My family and I currently follow Street Parking programming and workout in the garage box.
